World of Warcraft Guild

  • Guild Name: As yet undecided, suggestions please.
  • Guild Faction: Leaning on Alliance due to Paladins and general EZ mode.
  • Guild Server: Unknown as nothing is known about classic, but likely to be a PvE server as PvP is hassle we don't want.
  • Guild Objectives:
    • To clear PvE content while it is relevant (for example, to clear MC before BWL is released), on very limited raid hours.
    • To be an open and friendly place for raiders and non-raiders alike.
    • To provide free guild assistance (crafting, 5 man quest assistance, dungeon runs, assistance with obtaining raid crafting materials) where possible.
    • Basically raid smarter, not harder.
  • Who is this guild not for:
    • People with an exceptional focus on progress. Our intent is to clear the raid content before the next raid content is released, not to attempt to compete in any way for "X" first kills. Peoples wellbeing and real lives will be a focus over WoW progress.
    • People with a focus on PvP activity.
  • What will the guild offer you ?
    • Raider:
      • A group of like minded people to clear PvE content at a steady pace.
      • Dead dragons and swag, in that order.
    • Non-Raider:
      • Free access to guild crafters.
      • Access to raid only materials when they are no longer required by raiders.
      • Access to raiding content when it is on farm and non-raiders can help fill slots.
      • Help with 5 man quests and dungeon runs.
      • A friendly community with barrens chat style guild chat !
  • What does the guild ask of you ?
    • Raider:
      • Not be a tard !. If you are being invited to the guild, we suspect we already know you won't be.
      • To be able to raid on a UK focused time schedule..
      • To sign up for raids, attend when you have signed up and communicate clearly if circumstances change and you can no longer attend.
      • Hang out on Discord, both in and out of the game.
      • Help non-raiders when you can and not be selfish about the content you will do.
      • To have a progress minded viewpoint, and not a pure loot oriented perspective. Hopefully we are all old enough now to not care too much about purple pixels.
      • To be aware of tactics before attending raids.
      • To attend raids with the agreed upon set of raid consumables (which isn't going to be every single possible expensive consumable on every night like a hardcore guild would request).
      • To turn up at raids ready to play hard, to make the most of our limited raid hours.
      • To have a solid PC, internet connection, and any guild deemed "essential addons".
    • Non-Raider:
      • Not be a tard !. If you are being invited, we suspect we already know you won't be.
      • Assist other guild members where possible.
      • That is about it !
  • Raid Policies.
    • Loot: Loot will be allocated on a loot council basis, with a pure focus on progress. Please let officers know if you want specific loot for non-raid purposes (like PvP - and we will attempt to help where possible and it doesn't conflict with the primary progress aim).
    • Guild Loot: Items like Fiery Core obtained in raids will be going to the guild bank for crafting for progression focused items first, then made available to all guild members for crafting materials once a solid stash has been built up, and finally when totally free flowing, sold on the AH to fund raiding.
  • Pre Raid Checklists:
    • First Time Raider.
      • Hunter:
        • Have a good pet at maximum level. Depending on patch level Vanilla is released at, this might need to be Lupos for Shadow Damage.
        • 300 weapon skill with weapons you will use.
      • Druid:
      • Rogue:
        • 300 weapon skill with weapons you will use.
        • 300 unarmed weapon skill.
      • Mage:
      • Warlock:
        • Have obtained all pets.
      • Priest:
      • Miner:
        • The raid needs at least 1 300 miner for mining parts.
      • Herbalist:
        • Zul'Gurub will require a 300 herbalist with a Blood Scythe found in ZG to obtain Bloodvine.
      • Skinning:
